Information Security Analyst Officer

We are looking for a creative and experienced
Information Security Analyst Officer (SOC Analyst) at Hargeisa.
 

• Conduct research on emerging security threats, and provide Incident Response Support (IRS) when analysis confirms actionable incident.
• Provide threat and vulnerability analysis.
• Investigate, document and report on information security issues, emerging trends, and Integrate and share information with other analysts and other teams.
• SIEM Operations and maintenance.
• Threat Hunting and identifying different types of offenses.
• Using SOAR for incident response and writing custom scripts for automating incident response
• Monitor networks for security issues and investigate security breaches and other cyber security incidents.
  Implement security controls to mitigate information security risks.
• Work with security team to perform tests, uncover network, application and database vulnerabilities and fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
• Stay current on IT security trends and news, develop company-wide best practices for IT security and perform penetration testing.
   

•  Bachelor Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Information Security or related field
•  Professional certifications related to SOC 
• WORKING EXPERIENCE- Minimum 2 years
   

• Knowledge of SIEM/SOAR.
• Knowledge and experience with scripting and programming (Python, PERL, etc.).
• Threat Hunting and analysis Skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem skills/Problem Solving
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to quickly diagnose issues and suggest solutions.
